The TRB TDM Committee hosted a lectern session today at the TRB annual meeting called “Tools for Assessing Transportation Demand Management Strategies.” This session featured the highest rated TDM papers received by the TDM Committee including:
- How Multi-worksite Employers can Use Secondar Data to Assess Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) Opportunities (Bruce Batchelor, John Batchelor, Todd Litman)
- A Stated Preference Approach to Measure Perceived Benefit of Drive-Alone Users toward Shifting to Park-and-Ride: An Indian perspective (Manaswinee Kar, Shubhajit Sadhukhan, Manoranjan Parida, Arpit Shrivastava)
- Predicting parking occupancy for residential shared parking lots using deep learning methods considering COVID-19 Policies (Zhipen Niu, Xiaowei Hu, Mahmudur Fatmi, Shouming Qi, Dongling Wu, Shi An)
- Simulation-based Analysis of Different Curb Space Type Allocations on Curb Performance (Thomas Maxner, Andisheh Ranjbari, Chase Dowling)
