Mobility21 UTC Researcher, Christoph Mertz presented his UTC research at Smart Monitoring, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Civil Structures (SMAR) 2019 in Germany. His talk entitled “Moving Beyond the Romans: Deep Learning and Road Maintenance” highlighted his research using machine learning to predict and prevent potholes and road repairs.
