Metro21 Executive Director Karen Lightman represented President Farnam Jahanian on behalf of Carnegie Mellon University as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council on the Connected World‘s inaugural convening for 2021.

The Future of the Connected World is a collaboration of the World Economic Forum and their Executive Council. The Council on the Connected World formed in 2019 to strengthen global governance and innovation of IoT and related technologies to maximize the positive benefits, and minimize harm, for all of society.
