Students affiliated with the Carnegie Mellon University Transportation Club recently participated in a bike ride around downtown Pittsburgh. The event allowed students to network with one another, as well as learn about the active transportation network within the city. The group biked for a total of seven miles, beginning at Hamburg Hall at the CMU Campus, then along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail towards the Strip District. The trail follows parts of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio River, and allowed the students to see a unique side of downtown Pittsburgh.
