Luke Lyle, a postdoctoral researcher in the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University is the recipient of the 2021 TMS Functional Materials Division JEM Best Paper Award for his paper, “Characterization of Epitaxial ?-(Al,Ga,In)O-Based Films and Applications as UV Photodetector.” This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the Journal of Electronic Materials (JEM). As a Swartz Innovation Fellow Luke is working with Mobility21 and the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship to commercialize his technology.
