Date: Monday, April 4, 2016
Time: 1:00PM – 2:00PM ET
Host: Jim McCarthy, PE PTOE / Traffic Operations Engineer / FHWA-Minnesota Division
Presenter: Karl Wunderlich / Principal Investigator / Noblis
Webinar Details:
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) will host a free webinar on USDOT-sponsored modeling and simulation research in Dynamic Interrogative Data Capture (DIDC), exploring the value of dynamically adapting data capture and transmission rates of connected vehicles to optimize transportation system management. DIDC adapts the nature and frequency of data generation rates to optimize the estimation of key system performance measures – reducing redundant data while increasing the flow of critical data in and around problem locations. This webinar is sponsored by the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS-JPO) of the U.S. DOT.
