Musk’s company; the Boring Company is already building a underground tunnel loop in the city.

Self-driving cars will use the Vegas loop to move people quickly from one part of the city to the other.

This week city officials announced that musk wants to add on to the plan.

He wants to include tourists destinations like downtown Las Vegas and the strip.

Officials say he is filing for new permits in connection to the suggested additions.

No word on when the entire loop could be finished.

Musk does not have every part of the project approved yet.

But the loop for the city convention center is scheduled to be done in January.
