The new mobile site is based on the RTA’s travel information website, goroo.com.
Goroo provides trip directions using transit, driving, walking, biking, or any combination of these transportation options. The directions include a weather forecast as well as cost savings and air quality benefits of choosing transit.
The mobile site uses information from the CTA’s TrainTracker and BusTracker systems as well as from Metra’s Rail-Time Tracker. Because Pace doesn’t have real-time tracking yet, goroo gives scheduled Pace bus arrival information.
