RoadBotics Takes Aim at Roadway Maintenance

“It’s building on the concept that these are assets that are already being deployed on the streets,” said Courtney Ehrlichman, chief compliance officer for RoadBotics. “You’re not adding to it. Basically, you’re making use of something that’s already out there.” Ms. Ehrlichman has served as deputy executive director for Carnegie Mellon University’s Traffic 21 and T-SET, the National U.S. Department of Transportation’s University Transportation Center for Safety. They, along with chief technology officer Benjamin Schmidt and chief scientist Christoph Mertz, are crunching numbers daily.
