This rigorous, 10-week program of study begins Monday, May 20, 2013 and ends Sunday, July 28, 2013. Interns will be awarded a stipend of $4,000 each to participate in a NEXTRANS-funded project at Purdue University, The Ohio State University, University of Michigan, or University of Wisconsin–Madison. Interns will be exposed to the field of transportation engineering through hands-on, collaborative research under the guidance of faculty members and graduate students. The NEXTRANS Center hopes to attract a new generation of leaders to transportation-related careers and graduate-level degrees.
Please inform your undergraduate engineering students of this exciting opportunity, and encourage them to apply by Wednesday, February 27.
