South Korea’s Kia Corp. has vowed to become the world’s leading mobility company with more emphasis on electric vehicles (EV) and purpose built vehicles (PBV), as well as mobility services after investing more than 10 trillion won ($8.98 billion) in future mobility and green car technologies by 2025.
As part of its ambitious mid- to long-term roadmap, Kia aims to complete a full EV lineup of 11 models by 2026 to ramp up its annual environment-friendly car sales to 1.6 million units by 2030, the company unveiled at the 2021 CEO Investor Day held digitally Tuesday.
