ITS America Statement on U.S. DOT Vehicle-to-Vehicle Decision Vision of ‘Talking’ Cars that Avoid Crashes will Soon be a Reality

Belcher, President and CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), the nation’s largest association representing the transportation and technology communities including major automakers and suppliers, responded to today’s vehicle-to-vehicle communications announcement by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx and officials from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology.
