When given a choice between an electric vehicle or a gas-fueled one, participants in Ford’s London electric-vehicle-sharing experiment preferred to use a gas model as they learned the company’s mobile app before choosing to drive the electric Ford Focus. However, many participants did not return to gas models, the company said. Ford currently has 50 electric vehicles in its London fleet and expects to debut a beta version this month.
