FCC documents suggest Google cars may come to 4 new cities

Google self-driving car program Director Chris Urmson applied last week to renew his firm’s experimental authority license with the Federal Communications Commission, extending testing for two years in Mountain View, Calif., and Austin, Texas, as well as in four other cities, which were not listed to the public, writes Kirsten Korosec. She suggests the tech giant will likely try to expand testing in cities with less stringent rules and more variable weather conditions.
