Students at Carnegie Mellon’s Integrated Innovation Institute have designed a new type of mobile playground that lives inside a shipping container attached to a semi-truck.
The new design, which graduate engineering students are calling Wonder Wheels, would give kids with cognitive and physical disabilities an easy way to play.
Families would have quick access when a Wonder Wheels truck came to their neighborhood, instead of having to venture to the nearest park, which may actually be far away.
