The City of Hamburg in Germany and Cisco have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to improve the quality of life for its residents by creating a ‘Smart City’, enabling greater mobility, efficiency, safety and sustainability. The MoU foresees the creation of specific pilot projects around smart traffic, smart street lighting, infrastructure sensing, and remote citizen services.
