ANSYS grows partnerships in the autonomous vehicle industry

Just this week, ANSYS Inc. (NYSE:ANSS) announced partnerships with three companies working in the autonomous vehicle development space.

Pleasanton California-based AEye will incorporate ANSYS simulation technologies into its Intelligent Detection and Ranging platform.

Wilsonville, Oregon-based FLIR Systems plans to integrate thermal sensors into ANSYS simulators to model, test and validate its thermal camera design used to identify objects in darkness or inclement weather scenarios.

Waterloo, Canada-based BlackBerry Limited will embed ANSYS software in its QNX operating system—which helps manufacturers achieve safety certifications and avoid cyberattacks— for use in autonomous vehicles.
