Reports are saying that Alphabet is mulling over a $1 billion investment in Lyft. A big financing round like this could go a long way for Lyft, which announced its self-driving program development this summer. This sure would be an interesting move for Google, which invested early in Uber through its GV arm. Oh, and let’s not forget about that pesky theft lawsuit Waymo has been fighting about with Uber in court.
