Women in Transportation Fellowship
In partnership with Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III College, Mobility21 is proud to award the Women in Transportation Fellowship on an annual basis. Each year, an outstanding graduate student who demonstrates an interest and commitment to Intelligent Transportation Systems. The goal of this fellowship is to provide mentoring, professional networking opportunities and exposure to national transportation career paths for graduate students.
Diversity in Transportation Fellowship

Each year, an outstanding minority graduate student who demonstrates an interest and commitment to Intelligent Transportation Systems. The goal of this fellowship is to provide mentoring, professional networking opportunities and exposure to national transportation career paths for unrepresented minority graduate students.
Robotics Institute Summer Scholars Program
The Robotics Institute Summer Scholars (RISS) Program is an intensive summer program for talented undergraduate students. Each summer, Mobility21 supports a student traditionally underrepresented in the STEM field to have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art research projects, interact with members of the Mobility21 team, and be mentored by leading transportation professionals.
